Icy Weather Causes Garbage Collection Delays

Due to hazardous road conditions today, Allied Waste will not be running any of its Friday residential garbage collection routes throughout  Acadiana. Regular Friday garbage customers served by Allied Waste will receive garbage collection on Saturday, beginning at 7 AM. The Recycling Foundation, as of 9 AM Friday, was running its regular Friday residential curbside collection route.  Any Friday recycling customers that do not receive collection today, will be serviced on Saturday.
