(Opelousas, Louisiana) - Two men brought horses into a local bar for a quick dance, and it was all caught on camera.

In a video posted on social media, you see the two men enter the establishment, each with a horse, and once inside the bar, they pretend it's Mardi Gras in Mamou or Church Point.

Once they're in the bar, the two men hop up on the horse and have an impromptu dance-off.

If this looks familiar, it's because many horseback riders do this while running Mardi Gras in the rural areas of Acadiana.

No person or animal appeared to be injured in this prank, and this certainly isn't the first time we've seen horses in Acadiana establishments.

If you recall, we've shared videos of horses at Walmart and even at other bars in Acadiana over the years. I don't know whether they rode their horses to the bar or whether the horses were in a trailer parked outside the venue, and they were dared to ride them inside.

Whatever the case may be, those there on this night seemed to enjoy this quick laugh.

Laws Regarding Horses in Bars

While there is no law prohibiting horses in bars, it is highly discouraged, as it can pose a danger to patrons and horses alike. You never know if the animal will get spooked and injure those in the bar or itself.

According to Bloom Legal, one who is intoxicated can be charged with public intoxication or disturbing the peace if intoxicated while on the horse.
