Horse Walks Into Bourbon Street Bar

C.J. Edwards was playing drums in the Bourbon Street drinkery this weekend when something unusual happened. C.J.'s been around, but he'd never seen a horse walk into a bar and start grooving to the music. The band was playing "Old Town road" when the horse named Ace walked in. The line, “Take my horse to the Old Town Road” must have resonated with Ace. He was on duty with the NOPD. Ace's partner, officer Joseph Jones, said “That particular night (the band) happened to be playing Old Town Road so (Ace) had to go up there to find out what was going on. He realized there was no end of the road up there so he backed out and went back to work.” I can't help thinking of the '60s TV show "Mr. Ed."
