History Of The ‘Sandwich’ [VIDEO]

My daughter calls me from the grocery store a few days ago to ask if we had honey in the pantry.  She likes peanut butter and honey sandwiches.  I had never had one.  I LOVED it!

So how was the sandwich born?  Who came up with the idea and the name.  'Sandwich', sounds like something you'd find on a beach.  And sometimes you do.  Fact is, you can find a sandwich in some of the most remote parts of the world.  How did two pieces of bread with something in the middle get so popular?

The sandwich was the idea of one man who was a fan of card playing.  While binging on some serious card playing, the sandwich was born.
