'Social Engineering' is the latest technique hackers are using to infect unsuspecting internet users with viruses.  As servers become increasingly secure, hackers have changed thir tactics, and are fooling users into downloading viruses themselves. The hacker will send what looks like an interesting link, video, song, etc. and try to entice you into 'downloading a device to view it'.  This has become very prevalent on Facebook. Microsoft, inc. reports approximately 1 in 14 downloads is malicious.

Have You Been Victimised By 'Social Engineering'?

I have. My user profile on the computer I'm using to type this post has had to be deleted twice in the past year, and with over 2,700 Facebook friends, I recently had to change my password 3 times in one week.
