‘Harvey’ Was Shot, Left For Dead [CAUTION: Graphic Images]

I don't understand how some people can be so heartless. This dog, "Harvey", was shot and left for dead until a passer-by stopped and called a rescue organization.

According to the Facebook post from St. Landry Parish Animal Control, Harvey has 5-10 pellets from a shotgun riddling his spine, causing partial paralysis.  Someone had removed his collar before dumping him near a highway.  He is also emaciated: his normal weight should be above 50lbs; currently he is 16lbs.
