GUMMY RECALL: Check Your Skittles, Starburst, and Life Savers Gummies
A gummy recall has been issued in regards to several name-brand gummy varieties.
The U.S. Food and Drug Adminstrations says that the recall came about due to foreign objects in the product and packaging.
The gummies, though sold under different brand names, were all manufactured and packaged at the same facility.
The recall is voluntary, as Mars Wrigley announced the recall themselves after receiving consumer complaints of the presence of thin strands of metal in the candies.
Some of the strands of metal were loose in bags, others were embedded in the product.
The Skittles Gummies, Starburst Gummies, and Life Savers Gummies that are being recalled were distributed in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
If you have purchased or have in your possession any packages of gummies from any of the above brands, the table below lists which specific packages are being recalled:

According to the Food and Drug Administration, the agency is not aware of any illness or injury due to the contamination at this point.
