Fish Without A License Next Weekend, June 10

Take the family fishing for free next weekend!

KATC reports that the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is holding its annual Free Fishing Weekend next Saturday and Sunday, June 10 - 11. Louisiana fishing requirements for residents and visitors to have a fishing license to fish in Louisiana waters will be waived to encourage people to enjoy all that the Louisiana outdoors has to offer.

All fishing regulations, like size and limits, will remain in effect.
