Eagles, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers To Headline Jazz Fest 2012

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival has announced its music lineup for 2012. This year's event, as in years past, will  include performances by several members of the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame.

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers will highlight the first weekend.  The Eagles make their inaugural Jazz  Fest appearance on weekend number two. Other notables include John Mayer, The Foo Fighters, and The Zac Brown Band. Longtime favorites Irma Thomas, Bonnie Raitt,  Dr. John, and The Neville Brothers return this year as well. The dates of Jazz Fest 2012 are April 27th- 29th, and May 3rd- 6th.
