Don’t Fall For This iphone Phishing Scam
Users of modern technology have to be ever vigilant. Scammers keep developing increasingly convincing scams. This one specifically targets iphone users. The iphone is the world's largest selling smartphone. That, unfortunately, makes its users popular targets. The Phisher sends what appears to be a legitimate message from Apple, telling the user their Apple ID has been disabled. The user is asked to click a link, and re-verify their account information. BGR recommends not clicking the embedded link. The message looks convincing but it's not from Apple. Users are strongly advised not to provide any information.
