Dog in Louisiana Seen Bathing in Large Pothole
(Opelousas, Louisiana) - It's warming up across south Louisiana, and even our pets are looking for ways to cool off.
As summer approaches, we remind you to take care of your pets that may be outdoors. Not only do pets need lots of shade, but they also need plenty of water this summer.
Well, our friend and comedian Shawn Bernad was recently in Opelousas when he noticed a few potholes on the road he was on, and then, upon further inspection, Shawn noticed something in the hole.

As he got closer to the pothole, Shawn noticed that a dog was in the pothole, which was filled with water. Either the dog decided to bathe, or it decided it decide it was time to cool off.
Whatever the case was, it was adorable to see the dog in the water as temperatures warm up in Acadiana, however, if a pothole is large enough for a dog to bathe in, it's probably time the city addresses the road hazard.
