Dental Offices Across Louisiana to Quit Non-essential, Routine Work for 30 Days
The Louisiana Department of Health is ordering all routine, non-essential dental procedures cease beginning Wednesday, March 18, until AT LEAST April 16.
Dental providers across the state are now contacting their clients and families about the order.
BELOW is an excerpt from the Louisiana State Board of Dentistry:
If a procedure can be delayed for 30 days without, in the clinical judgment of the dentist, running an undue risk of harm to the patient, it is non-essential.
