Demi Lovato has a lot of ink, but nothing quite like her newest piece. On Thursday (May 16), the pop star took to Instagram to show off her "most meaningful" tattoo yet: a portrait of her grandmother at age 26 on her forearm.

"This is for you Mimaw. You at 26 on my arm while I’m 26, and forever. I love you more," she captioned a series of photos debuting the new ink. "Thank you @_dr_woo_ for making her come back to life for me.. it’s stunning and the most meaningful tattoo I have ever gotten."

Earlier this year, the singer also commemorated her late dog Buddy with a tattoo on her ankle, also done by tattoo artist to the stars, Doctor Woo.

Lovato has been living a happy and healthy life after completing a three-month rehab stint following a drug overdose last summer. The most recent page in her new life chapter was signing Scooter Braun as her new manager, who also represents Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande.
