DA Seeks Death Penalty In Landon Broussard Case

Lafayette District Attorney Mike Harson's office will seek the death penalty in the case of Landon Broussard. Broussard is accused of raping and killing his girlfriend's 3 year old son, Julian.

Assistant DA William Babin filed documents last week, detailing the prosecution's case against Broussard.

“The offense was committed in an especially heinous, atrocious or cruel manner.”   -Assistant DA William Babin.

KATC-TV 3 reports autopsy results confirm the child's death resulted from blunt force trauma to the head, and neck.
