By now, you've probably seen 'The Voice', or at least heard of the show. Following in the footsteps of other national talent searches, this show has the added twist of the blind audition, where judges are only allowed to see the performer if they like their voice enough to turn their chair around. Over the years, there have been performers from Louisiana on other shows including Joshua Ledet (Westlake) and Jacee Badeaux (Lafayette) on American Idol. Four contestants on the current season of NBC's 'The Voice' have Louisiana connections. If you're watching the show, pay special attention to these performers:

Lelia Broussard: Sang the National Anthem on KTDY when she was 9 years old. (Team Blake)
MacKenzie Bourg: Went to St. Thomas More. (Team Ceelo)
Alexis Marceaux: From New Orleans and has friends in Lafayette. (Team Ceelo) She's playing tonight, 9/28/12 with Cate LeBon at Circle Bar in New Orleans.
Dez Duron: From Shreveport. Played football for Evangel. (Team Christina)
