The United States Coast Guard rescued a pair of individuals from a shrimp boat on Sunday afternoon. The vessel and its crew were shrimping near Lake Borgne when the ship began to take on water.

Here's a video of the rescue from the Coast Guard.

Coast Guard officials say the ship, the Sau Nguyen, became disabled and started to take on water as weather conditions around the time of the incident were not the best. The Coast Guard rescue crew plucked the two occupants of the ship off the deck and safely hoisted them into a Coast Guard helicopter.

From the site of the incident, the chopper flew the sailors to Lake Front Airport in New Orleans. Neither member of the sailing crew was reported to be injured.
