CNN Twitter Poll Backfires

CNN conducted a Twitter poll using the search term '#askacop' and quickly learned that instead of creating goodwill and understanding between civilians and regular people, they gave their viewers a vehicle for their anger, frustration, and in some cases, stupidity.

Tweets ranged from 'Would you kill for this donut glazed with bacon bits. Nevermind I already know the answer to that' to 'You must need some zen time. What else do you do on-duty besides murdering innocent black people to distract you from your job?' and everything in between. The hacker activist group Anonymous even got involved, bashing CNN for asking the question.
