Child Dies In Crash As Driver Was Backing Out Of Driveway
A young child is dead after a driver backing from the driveway of a home in the 100 block of Robin south of Rayne struck the child in the driveway.
The Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office says the accident happened Tuesday night shortly before 7 PM.
Deputies continue the investigation but do not suspect impairment at this time.
