The likes of Marc Broussard, Steve Adams, T.K. Hulin, Charlene Howard and a host of others came together at The District last night for a fundraiser for Glen Guilbeau .

An Acadiana native has been hit hard. One of the area's best known musicians, Louisiana Hall of Fame member Glen Guilbeauhas suffered a severely debilitating stroke, and the community came together Sunday evening to raise thousands.

The performances were amazing and back to back.  As soon as one local legend ended a set, another was there to keep the music nonstop.  In addition, Murray Conque was the emcee for the live auction.

Charlene Howard was nothing short of amazing, even bringing Mr. Guilbeau up on stage to sing her version of Bill Wither's 'Lean On Me'.

Howard excited the crowd with 'Will It Go Round In Circles'.

Charlene Howard sang from the heart, an original song she wrote called 'Send Me Someone To Love'.

The night rounded out with Carencro's Mark Broussard.
