C-SPAN Bus Visits Northside High

Students at Lafayette's Northside High got a hands on taste of how the public affairs network C-SPAN operates. They were visited by the C-SPAN Bus Wednesday morning. It's equipped with computers that access multiple websites, as well as the C-SPAN video library. C-SPAN is spreading the word about its new First Ladies feature series. The network is also sponsoring a student documentary contest, called Student Cam.
The bus visited Northside High from 9-11 a.m., and was scheduled  to be at South Louisiana Community College from 1- 3 p.m.
The C-SPAN Bus has been on the road for nearly 20 years, visiting cities, schools and universities around the U.S.
