Broussard Crash Claims Life Of A Woman

Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office Spokeswoman Valerie Ponseti says that a woman has died as a result of a crash yesterday.

The crash claimed the life of 33-year-old Jada Goody.

Ponseti says the one car crash happened at around 3:50 yesterday afternoon.

Sheriff deputies were called out to the crash in the 500 block of Bayou Tortue Road.

Goody was taken to a local hospital, but she ultimately died from her injuries.

The crash is still being investigated.
