BREAKING: US Navy Ship on Fire in San Diego [VIDEO]

According to 23ABC in Bakersfield, a US Navy ship is on fire at a Navy base shipyard in San Diego, California.

CBS8 is reporting that there was an explosion that resulted in the fire aboard the USS Bonhomme Richard, an amphibious assault vessel. It is reported that over 200 sailors were on the ship at the time of the incident, and at least one injury has been reported.

The cause of the blast/fire is still under investigation.
