Bob Hensgens Wins Senate Seat Formerly Held By Jonathan Perry

State Representative Bob Hensgens (REP) has won the 3-person race to replace Jonathan Perry for Senate District #26.

Perry vacated the seat to run for Louisiana’s 3rd Circuit Court of Appeal, which he won unopposed.

Hensgens won 60% of the vote. Jean Menard (DEM) finished with 22% of the vote. And Jerry Gaspard (REP) garnered 18% of the vote.
