(Baton Rouge, Louisiana) - The kids will soon be out of school, and many will be looking for ways to cool off this summer. Well, one water park in Louisiana will reportedly not open this summer.

WBRZ is reporting that the Blue Bayou portion of Blue Bayou Dixie Landin' will not open for the 2025 season.

The Dixie Landin' portion of the park is set to open on May 23, 2025, but on the Dixie Landin Theme Park social media page, there's no mention of the water park opening this summer.

The Baton Rouge news station did reach out to the park, and they were told that Blue Bayou would not be opening for the 2025 season.

No reason has yet been announced as to why the water park off of I-10 in Baton Rouge will be closed this summer, but if a reason is announced, we will share here and on this station's mobile app.
