Amy Grant, Wife of Vince Gill, Injured in Nashville

Oh, Baby Baby—Contemporary Christian, Pop artist, six-time Grammy Award winner and wife of country music superstar Vince Gill, Amy Grant, was taken by ambulance to a Nashville hospital Wednesday.

It's being reported that Amy Grant was injured in a biking accident in Nashville Wednesday afternoon while biking with a friend near Harpeth Hills Golf Course in Nashville.

Grant's publicist confirmed to WKRN that the singer was on a biking excursion with a friend when the accident occurred. She fell from a bike, luckily she was wearing a helmet. An ambulance was called and Grant was taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center emergency room. She is being treated for cuts and bruises and is being held for observation. She is in stable condition.

In 2020, Grant had open heart surgery to help improve a birth defect that affects blood flow between the lungs and heart.

Grant is expected to be inducted into the 45 edition of the Kennedy Center Honors in December.
