Acadiana’s Favorite School Field Trips

It was something most of us looked forward to when we were in school: the annual field trip.

I asked my Facebook followers about their favorite field trip when they were in high school, and many sounded really fun! Some of the responses included destinations that no longer exist, and others included destinations that required a few overnights.

I was able to go on a few field trips during my school years, and the most memorable for me was just a few miles from our school.

The one trip on the list that surprised me most was Angola State Prison.
