Hey, big spender! New research has uncovered some interesting information about spending habits in men versus women.  A survey of married couples found that both men and women are equally guilty of occasional dishonesty about money. About a third of people admitted to hiding purchases from their spouses and telling a few white lies about finances.  And as for the typical stereotype of the spend-happy, shopaholic woman, studies around the world beg to differ.  In Bangladesh, women are more likely to pay back loans and are overall more successful in managing their families’ money.  And women in the Philippines commonly spend money on practical household items to benefit their families.  No, practical shoes do not fall into that category.
