Youngsville Sports Complex Responds To Lighting Question

I posted a story about the lights remaining on at the new Youngsville Sports Complex, and officials from the complex responded.

The Youngsville Sports Complex Facebook Page left a comment on our story that was first posted this weekend:

We have had citizens ask similar questions and with the new lighting systems there has to be a 100 hour burn in per the requirements of acclimating the system, weed out any bulbs that will burn out to replace them, and most importantly to do the official light intensity testing based upon normal operating wattage. Once our lighting systems has successfully completed the burning in process they will only be used when needed to conserve energy.
