Workers File federal Complaint against Disney Company
The Disney Company is a massive conglomerate. They own not only movie studios, and theme parks, but multiple retail outlets, theaters, and TV networks ABC, ESPN, and the Disney Channel. A federal unfair labor complaint has been filed against the 150 billion dollar company on behalf of tens of thousands of Disney employees. The International Business Times reports, the company allegedly withheld bonuses from 35,000 employees in an attempt to coerce union workers to accept lower salaries during contract negotiations. The company recently announced increased ticket prices at its theme parks.
