Wipers On JayCee’s Jeep Turn On In Right-Hand Turn [VIDEO]

So I bought a "new-to-me" 1992 Jeep Cherokee, and something funny happens when I turn right: the wipers come on.

I am not certain, but I am guessing that there is a short in some wire somewhere under the dashboard, because when I kick the dashboard, the wipers turn off

Are there any mechanics out there who can tell me the problem sight-unseen?
