What’s the Difference Between Jambalaya and Rice Dressing?

Today Debbie Ray and I got into a discussion about side dishes while a song was playing on the radio. (What happens off the air is always crazier than what happens ON the air!) It spilled into the show and Cheryl called in to tell us all about it. Listen to the call and tell us… Do you agree or disagree with her explanation?

Kathy told us the easiest explanation is that Jambalaya is traditionally cooked with the rice in it and dressing is cooked with the rice cooked separately and added to meat mixture.
