First time visitors to our studio are usually fascinated, and sometimes surprised, to see what goes on "behind the scenes." We work crazy hours around here (Debbie Ray generally arrives around 5:15 am). I'm on the air at lunch time, and sometimes end up not having lunch, or settling for fast  food. Our receptionist, Janet recently asked why I don't bring lunch. My reply, "I forget." Sometimes I set something aside, and forget to bring it. This morning, I didn't set anything aside, so I brought bread, two kinds of meat, Swiss cheese & coleslaw. Restaurants in Nola use coleslaw in their Po-Boys instead of lettuce. This pastrami, ham& Swiss on wheat wasn't bad, if I say so myself.
