Gabe Broussard, 15, the young man Lafayette, La. who's turning chairs on NBC's hit show The Voice, didn't know that a video shot with a cell phone would change his life.

Broussard, who attends Vermillion Catholic School in Abbeville, has made it through the knockout round on the Voice beating out Christian Fermin on Monday night's show.  A member of Team Blake's, Gabe was declared the winner of the round by every judge.

His journey had to start somewhere.  Gabe is a huge fan of Carencro native Marc Broussard.  One night he joined his idol  on stage for a perfect rendition of Marc's song 'Lonely Night In Georgia'.  The video was sent to the producers of The Voice and the rest is now history in the making.
