Veterans Care Package Donations Being Accepted

The local Patriot Guard Riders group is holding a care package drive, and 99.9 KTDY is one of the drop-off locations. The drive is to collect personal hygiene products for veterans in our local nursing homes. Their goal is to bring EVERY veteran a package that contains:

• Lap blanket
• soap
• razors
• toothpaste
• toothbrush
• mouthwash
• socks
• deodorant
• comb or brush
• shampoo
• nail clippers
• shave cream

Drop off any items you care to donate at our studios, 1749 Bertrand Drive. The deadline for collecting items is October 16^th.

Other drop-off points include Neff Rentals on Hwy 14 in New Iberia; National Oilwell Varco on Hwy 90 in New Iberia; Chapman Consulting on Thoroughbred Drive; LADOT on Hugh Wallis Road.
