United Blood Services To Hold Blood Drive At Cajun Heartland State Fair [Updated]

United Blood Services will hold a blood drive at the Cajun Heartland State Fair.

The Cajun Heartland State Fair Blood Drive on Friday, May 23 has been moved to United Blood Services Donor Center on Bertrand. The time has been changed to noon to 5 p.m.This weekend is Memorial Day. The need for blood always spikes around major holidays, and donations drop off at this time of year. Donors will receive “fun, fun” thank you gifts (while supplies last) – one sheet Cajun Heartland State Fair ride tickets (a $25 value), an “All Things Southern” t-shirt, and a coupon for a free pint of Bluebell Ice Cream.
