Two Year Old Shoots, Kills Mother At Wal-Mart

A 29 year old woman was shopping in the electronics department of a Hayden Idaho Wal-Mart, when she was shot to death by her 2 year old son. ABC-TV affilate KXLY reports, the child was riding in his mother's shopping cart when he found a gun in her purse, took it out, and pulled the trigger. The incident happened around 10:20 am, Tuesday. The store was immediately evacuated, and closed for the remainder of the day.

Wal-Mart spokesperson Brooke Buchanan told ABC News, "A very sad and tragic incident happened in our Hayden store involving a female customer, and we're working with the local sheriff's department while they investigate what happened,"

The woman's name has yet to be released, pending notification of next of kin.
