Two More Arrests Made In Cankton Home Invasion

The St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office says that two more people have been arrested for a home invasion in Cankton on May 15.

Shane Pomier was arrested this week in connection with the crime, and now Captain Megan Vizena says 26-year-old Benneth Barras and 27-year-old Reginald Francis, both from Carencro, have been charged with:

• Home invasion
• Armed robbery
• False imprisonment
• Criminal conspiracy
• Attempted 1st degree murder

Vizena adds they are searching for 26-year-old Jessica Rose of Lafayette in connection with the case.  She has an outstanding warrant.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Rose are urged to call St. Landry Crime Stoppers at 948-TIPS.

Vizena says their department received help from the U.S. Marshall's Office, Lafayette City Marshall's Office and the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division in making the arrests.
