Many users of social media are voicing concerns about their privacy. Every day, we see posts urging users to delete the Facebook Messenger app out of concerns their personal information will be compromised. As the Associated Press reports, Twitter has filed suit against the Department of Justice and the FBI, seeking publication of their "transparency report." Twitter claims the First Amendment entitles the company to "respond to our users' concerns and to the statements of U.S. government officials by providing information about the scope of U.S. government surveillance." The FBI has reportedly been pressuring companies like Google and Skype to grant access to their data streams, thereby grabbing  emails, photos and more.
