There Is 2 Million Dollars Hidden In The Rocky Mountains, If You Find It, It’s Yours To Keep

As heard on the KTDY morning show today, Forrest Fenn, 84, from Sante Fe, New Mexico has hidden a treasure in the Rocky Mountains, it's still there and he wants you to get off the couch and find it.

Fenn's memoir's, called 'The Thrill of the Chase', has clues to where the treasure is located.  Which is probably why the book is a best-seller.  He says he hide the treasure chest with $2 million worth of gold, coins and gemstones to encourage people to get off the couch, put the smartphones away and play!

He was recently interviewed and said the treasure chest is 5,000 feet above sea level but it is wet.  He said, he knows of people who have come as close as 200 feet to the treasure...but it's still out there!  Over 30,000 people have searched for it.

So if you find yourself in the Rocky Mountains, bring a shovel!
