Susan Boyle Hospitalized

Susan Boyle, who rose to stardom after appearing on Britain's Got Talent, was hospitalized after an incident at Heathrow Airport in London.

Police had to be called after Boyle threw what was called by eyewitnesses, "a massive tantrum".  She was taken to a local hospital by ambulance for evaluation.

Boyle's rep said the event was caused by her Asperger's Syndrome.  She was not hospitalized for very long.  She caught a later flight and arrived home in Scotland without incident.

Two weeks ago, Boyle had a similar situation at an airport in Ireland.  Her brother was supposed to fly with her to her destination but caught an earlier flight.  She was not taken to the hospital, instead, the airport staff took her to a private area of the airport and calmed her.
