Steve Wiley’s Mardi Gras Bloody Mary
It’s Mardi -Gras weekend! What’s a big weekend in south Louisiana without potent potables? This concoction could be a tourism commercial. It contains lots of Louisiana ingredients. I hit the salad bar at Adrien’s supermarket for black olives, cherry tomatoes, bacon bits, “Krab” meat, cubes of cheddar & pepperjack cheese, purple onion, and mushroom slices. There’s also some Zatarain’s horseradish, Cajun Chef spiced beans, & Trappey’s jalapeno slices. I killed off a bottles of Tabasco Family Reserve, added a tablespoon of salsa, & a few dashes of worchestershire. Two shots of Ketel One vodka, and low-sodium V-8. Here’s to your health!
