You've heard of Tex Mex.This is La. Mex. I took 1/3 lb. of 90% lean ground beef, seasoned with Cajun Cocaine (Yes, that IS a brand of seasoning), and put it under the broiler. Cooking it on a pit would probably be preferable, but I was hungry & not willing to wait for the coals. I smashed 2 ripe avocados, stirred in 3 tablespoons medium salsa & 5 dashes of Mexican Style Tobasco to make the guacamole'. I spread a bed of bag salad on a slice of multi grain bread, then laid on a very thick layer of the guacamole,' melted a blend of cheddar, colby, jack, and mozzarella cheese on top. Muy Bueno!...If I say so myself.
