Soldier Returns Home To Surprise Family At A Hockey Game In Front Of Thousands

Yeah, this is one of those...a soldier returns home and surprises family. This one is a little different though.

A family was being honored a hockey game for holding season tickets since 1996. They were brought out onto the ice in front of what appears to be a sold out arena. So they're out there in the spot light thinking they were going to do the puck drop, but the twist comes when the game announcer welcomed their son onto the ice, who is supposed to be in Afghanistan.

The dad is so happy he tackles his son to the ground. Get out a tissue.
