Sheriff Cancels Valentine’s Day

Valentine's Day cancelled? Yes, it's true!... in Oconee County, Georgia. ABC News reports Sheriff Scott Berry has officially cancelled the day of flowers, chocolate and love. Why would he do such a dastardly thing?

Winter storms have turned life upside down all over the country. Georgia has been unusually hard hit. Hundreds of flights have been cancelled, businesses closed, and life has essentially ground to a halt. A lot of men find Valentine's Day very stressful. Many guys agonize over gifting to an extent that rivals Christmas, putting it off 'til the last minute.  A Facebook friend of mine posted about twice being dumped on the day before the "Day of Love."  There are about 32,000 male residents in Oconee County. They're off the hook...For now.
