New Line Cinema has reportedly bought the rights to the story of the NFL's oldest cheerleader, 42 year-old Laura Vikmanis. The Cincinnati Bengals cheerleader tried out for the team at age 39, and didn't make the cut. She tried out again at age 40, and made the squad. Vikmanis had previously been a dancer and was encouraged by her teenage daughters to try out for the team after her husband left her for a younger woman.
