The New Orleans Saints have announced their 2013 training camp schedule. The first practice open to the public will be Friday, July 26th. Admission and parking are free. Gates open 45 minutes prior to the start of practice. Sixteen practice sessions will be open to the public, weather permitting.

In the event of inclement weather, practice will be moved indoors, and closed to the public because of limited space.

The Saints are looking to rebound from a disappointing 7-9 season, and return to postseason competition. Last year's defense surrendered more than 7,000 yards, the worst total in NFL history. This year's edition will have a totally new look, with a 3-4 alignment, under new defensive coordinator Rob Ryan.

Head coach Sean Payton returns from a year long suspension, during which he worked out a lot, and Screamed at his TV. Quarterback Drew Brees has reveled in the fact that this is the Black & Gold's first "Normal" offseason in four years. They have a tough schedule ahead. All indications are that everyone is focused, and feels they have something to prove.
