For the New Orleans Saints, there's no place like home.

One week after being dominated on the road at Seattle, the Saints put together a complete game and snapped the Carolina Panthers nine game winning streak, beating their NFC South Division rivals, 31-13 Sunday night.

After staking the Panthers to a 6-0 lead on two field goals, the New Orleans offense went to work, putting up 21 second quarter points to take a 21-6 lead into the locker room at halftime.  It was the most points allowed by the Panthers in the first half since 2011.

In that period, Saints quarterback Drew Brees threw for three touchdowns, two to Marques Colston and one to Jimmy Graham to give New Orleans all the points they would need.  Brees added a fourth touchdown pass to Graham in the fourth quarter.

The Saints defense, meanwhile, held Carolina to just 239 yards total offense and kept the Panthers out of the end zone until the game was well out of hand.

The win gives the Saints (10-3) an upper hand in the division race.  They still must face the Panthers (9-4) two weeks from now in Charlotte, but a tie at 12-4 would give the Saints the division title and a first round bye in the playoffs.
