Police Officer Catches Woman Stealing Eggs, Buys Them For Her [Video]

A police officer in Tarrant,  Alabama responded to a call reporting a shoplifter at a Dollar General store on Monday. Officer William Stacy didn't make an arrest. al.com reports the woman was stealing eggs to feed her children. The store manager declined to press charges, and Stacy asked the woman, ''If I give you these eggs, will you promise that you won't shoplift anymore?" The woman promised, and Officer Stacy bought her the eggs. A bystander captured the woman embracing the policeman as they were leaving the store.
