Photos Show Upper Deck of Cajun Field Completely Gone

Well, the day has come and there is no more upper deck or press box at Cajun Field.

By now you may be aware of the massive demolition project happening at Cajun Field as renovations to the stadium are about to be underway.

For days now we have seen the upper deck of Cajun Field slowly disappear and on December 21, 2023, we can report that it is officially gone.

The landscape that so many are familiar with at Cajun Field has forever been changed.

Sure, it looks odd now, but in the end it was time and it now opens the door to what is to come for the Cajuns and their fans.

Several photos show the press box and upper deck gone and for the first time, you have a clear view of the Cajundome from Bertrand. However, with the remodeling coming you won't always have the view.

If you drive by Cajun Field in the days ahead you'll see just how different the view is, but remember, nothing lasts forever. Oh, did we mention how excited we are for what's to come at Cajun Field?

We can't wait to see the progress in the weeks and months ahead.
