The Panthers fan who went viral for sucker-punching an older man has been arrested.

According to WSOC, police arrested Kyle Adam Maraghy and charged him with simple assault after a reviewing the footage captured in a cellphone video that went viral late last week. The disturbing clip shows a 62-year-old man being sucker-punched in the stands.

According to the caption posted with the photo, the altercation was a result of the victim telling Maraghy and a female fan that they were "being jerks" for not sitting during the game.

The dude took offense to the couple never sitting down and obstructing his view. The victim telling the dude bro how they’re being jerks and how rude they are for not sitting.

The video shows Maraghy sucker-punching the 62-year-old man, but the worst part was that the man was clearly defenseless and bleeding profusely from his face, but that didn't stop him from delivering blows until he was restrained by other fans.

Maraghy was also charged with assault back in 2013, but those charges were eventually dropped.

He has since been released from jail, and his lawyer is saying that his client is being unfairly judged over a video that doesn't show the whole story.
